A21 Prep Invited to NHL Winter Classic 2019 at Notre Dame!

A21 Prep is honoured to be invited by 2018 OHSAA D1 Champs, Saint Ignatius Prep, to participate in two games during the NHL Winter Classic festival at the University of Notre Dame on January 3rd and 4th. The Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins will be playing in the traditional NHL Winter Classic game on New Year’s Day in the Notre Dame football stadium. “We as a second-year program are thrilled to be included in this two-week hockey festival in South Bend, Indiana,” states A21 Head Coach Robb Serviss. 

Saint Ignatius Prep is a powerhouse hockey prep program in Ohio and State Champs for the last 3 years. Both games will be played at the Compton Ice Arena which is home to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish NCAA D1 program. 

“We are so thankful to Saint Ignatius Prep for their invitation and the experience that A21 students will receive playing at and touring one of the premier NCAA D1 hockey facilities in the US. We are very excited about our 2018-19 programming with 3 NCAA D1 visits lined up at University of Vermont, Lake Superior State University, Notre Dame and one ACHA D1 visit to Calvin College”, said Serviss.
