ACTIVE LITERACY & HUMANITIES
As human progress continues to explode at an exponential rate, active literacy in all areas of the humanities becomes a most critical skill. It is not sufficient to read, write, nor merely comprehend the issues at hand. It is necessary to be able to convey thoughts and complex ideas in an effective and convincing way to an audience who may or may not be of the same cultural beliefs. Technological, global and universal issues will abound, but who will have the skills not only to comprehend these issues but to have the confidence and skill to articulate compelling solutions?
