To all young athletes, artists, activists, tech kids and future A21 members who have amazing interests,

I am very excited to meet you and hear about all your activities and what you like to do!  You may or may not know what your talent or passion is yet, but I bet you know what you like and that's all we need to begin.  Maybe you like:  music, painting, hockey, track, gymnastics, reading the newspaper, volunteering, aviation, lego or robots.  How about ipads, gaming, or even hacking?  No matter what your current interests, I believe you have serious skills and in a learning environment that is set up to help you enjoy life now, you will thrive and you will reach your highest potential while having fun.

My passion is something called human determinants, sounds tricky and probably boring but it's really fantastic and a lot of fun for me.  The way I see it is, I have the best job ever!!!!  My job is to find great kids like you then add exciting passionate coaches and teachers to create an amazing environment where we all "determine" the most fun way to be successful in life.   

Now don't freak your parents out by telling them A21 Academy is the fun school lol

For example, did you read the quote above?  Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, worked really really hard and he worked a ton of hours at his passion because he wanted to learn everything there was to know about his interest in computers.  He is totally successful because his passion is his work.  This is the same for Thomas Edison who "worked" until he was 84 years old but he said, "I never did a day's work in my life, it was all fun". 

When "work" is related to something you are interested in, really difficult, important work becomes fun and the results are fantastic.

At A21 we do real work, we solve real problems and we encourage you to be in charge of your life and take responsibility for your education, your sports, your art and/or your other passions.  We want to help you to be super successful in all areas of your life.  When you are successful, it is a ton of fun, it feels great!!!


Real deal kids don't have any rules, that's right A21 has no rules but we live by a code, a very serious A21 code ... We will respect ourselves, others, the Academy, our teams and our families.
